In 1984, Central Boiler was founded near Greenbush, MN and the first outdoor wood furnace was built for an alternative
heating solution to save consumers money.

After Central Boiler found the efficiency
was extremely low with the traditional round firebox design, they discarded the above style completely. Unfortunately
for the consumer, the round firebox style is still utilized by many of Central Boiler's competitors.
